"The Final Empire" is a brilliant action-packed plot-driven high fantasy book. It starts slow (a bit too slow) but keeps getting better and better until the end when everything unfolds and wraps up perfectly. Indeed, this book's mind-blowing ending is among the best I've ever read, with so many twists and turns taking place in such few pages.
